Church History

This Church was founded on the belief of educating a generation through the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Ministry was founded,believing that with God's help, nothing was impossible. Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing shall be impossible". Greater Agape International Ministries was founded in December of 2005,by Reverend Dr. Julius Walter Ajedho Sr. and Rev. Dr. Suzette Ajedho. The ministry took home inside of their home in the 22nd hundred block of Susquehanna avenue.The ministry offered Sunday school classes and Bible study. With a passion for Christ and a desire to educate,Drs.Ajedhos' decided to open a church. On September 4th, 2007 Greater Agape found a home at 1420 W. Susquehanna avenue in North Philadelphia. On February 8th,2008 Greater Agape School of Ministry and Theology was founded. The first classes took place in May of 2008. That same year more programs were started,such as, weekly food share,Saturday street Evangelism services, literacy classes,foreign language classes,and a weekly group counseling session. With a personalized spin on the word of Christ Agape has proudly been open for 8 years. The current Senior Pastor is Reverend Dr. Julius Walter Ajedho Sr.
